Let's meet the Coaches...
Keith Simmons 
Keith has been coaching the Shaler area age group swimmers for the past 23 years. During that time he has coached several AMS champions, zones and junior national qualifiers. He is ASCA level 3 certified. Keith is also head coach for the Shaler area varsity swimming and diving team. He has over 42 years of swimming/coaching experience and his philosophy is that the swimmers should work hard and have fun so that they can enjoy their sport for a lifetime. Many of his Varsity Swimmers from Shaler have come back to coach for Shaler swim teams.
Brett Gerthoffer 
Brett has been in the pool since the age of nine. He has swam for SAAC, Seadogs, Shaler High School and Westminster College. While swimming for Shaler's Varsity team, he was Captain for one year, attended PIAA his senior year and set the 200 Free Relay at Shaler Pool. While swimming for Westminster's Varsity, he was for one year and was part of multiple Relay team records at Westminster Pool. He was also a National Qualifier. Brett has been a coach with Shaler Swim Club and Sea Dogs for _?_ years.
Jaclyn Obman 
Jackie started swimming at the age of 7, and continued through the age of 18. She started with the Sea Dogs, and then continued on with Shaler, where she graduated in 2009. Jackie is a 7 time zone qualifier, 1 time sectional qualifier, 2 time WPIAL qualifier and set the 100 breaststroke record at the age of 16. Jackie has been a coach with Shaler Swim Club for 4 years.
